My poem ‘the concrete’ appears in Degenerates: Voices for Peace, Homelessness Edition, by Weasel Press. The issue is available free online here and here as of today (Nov 30 2017). If you’re interested, check it out and let me know what you think!
Just found out my science fiction story Terminal Velocity will be published in SQ Mag! This story follows one of the world’s greatest pod racers in a futuristic, high-speed race that ranges across the globe.
I was happy to hear that my story ‘The Arcadian Obelisk’ will be published in an upcoming issue of SciFan Magazine.
The story is about a spaceship crew trying to stop a mysterious object that’s gobbling up entire star systems.
(Funny thing: this story was originally accepted for publication about a year ago by another magazine, but I accidentally withdrew it from consideration when I got my editors mixed up. Lesson learned.)
I was very happy to find out that my poem “Roaches in the Wormwood” will be published in “Death’s Garden”, a Black Book Series anthology by Lycan Valley Press. You should look forward to that coming out if you’re interested in creepy poems with a hidden meaning.
My story ‘Jerold’s Stand’ was accepted for publication in Broadswords and Blasters. I am happy about this story finding a good home. It was a bit of an experiment -trying to emulate the flavor of a medieval epic, mainly The Song of Roland– and I like how it turned out. You’re thrown into the middle of a battle as a brave captain leads his force against a much larger army. If you can get over the style -which is deliberately archaic- I think you might like it, too. It’s on track to come out in April 2018.
